Boniface's Tarot Deck Review of

Tree-of-Life Tarot

by Camphausen / Van Leeuwen

LIST PRICE:$20.00

ISBN: 0880790687

TYPE OF DECK: Totally unrelated to any other deck I've ever seen.

ARTISTIC STYLE: If Ross Perot were to teach tarot, he'd use these cards. They look a lot like business charts.

DECK BOOKLET: 40 pages; half in English, the other half in what looks to be German. The booklet doesn't say and neither does Barnes & Noble reference to this deck.

BOOK: Why bother?

SHUFFLE-ABILITY: Fairly easy to shuffle.

QUALITY OF PRINTING: Good quality printing; plastic coated.

ADDITIONAL SYMBOL SYSTEM: Kabballistic with zodiacal signs, but excludes the Tarot symbols.

ACCESSORIES / PACKAGE: Flap type box; sturdy, good protection for the cards.

BEST POINTS: The box.

WORST POINTS: The cards.

REVIEWER'S COMMENTS: I've got to say, this is the most disappointing deck I have ever encountered. There are basically only two cards in the whole deck with slightly different portions colored. One card picture is the Tree-of-Life glyph and the other is the wheel of the zodiac, and then, these cards are simply repeated over, and over, and over again. Final comment: When I decided to use a 1 to 5 star system I was thinking of this deck as an example of a 1 star deck. So here it is:
